Eternal Indian Summer…is that even possible?
“Erm…October, I don’t recognise you!”
This was my friend Joanna’s facebook status earlier this week, and my god she’s right! The weather this Autumn has broken records, we have had sunny and very hot days in September and my god, last week I was out with my coat on my arms rather than wearing it! It’s been very crazy and surreal for me, me coming from a hot country to a cold country and all. Of all the 5 years I’ve been living in London, (that long!) this is the first time the summer has stretched till autumn, making it a relatively eternal Indian Summer. For the majority of us here it’s been bliss. Having said that, I’ve missed the cold air and wind that Autumn brings preparing us for the winter ahead. So finally there has been the odd chance for us to wear our coats, hats and even gloves again. And even though almost everyone complains about the cold weather, I’m sure people are really looking forward to this Autumn breeze. Well, at least I am. I’m always cold anyway, so I’d rather be properly cold and wear my winter clothes!
So yes, I'm looking forward to the Summer to end and Winter to get its way in. Although, this Sunday it’s supposed to be 20degrees out there! In almost November! Can you believe it!
If this is possible, anything is!
maybe not, it’s just Global Warming, some might say. I’d rather be optimistic and believe. nothing wrong with that.
Cheers up for another sunny weekend. hopefully. Let’s enjoy it ’till it lasts.
and of course, ready for Monday cold, as the clocks go back, the winter approaches.

bring up the mulled wine, or just lots of rum and whiskey! that will keep you warm!
